Timeless Grandeur: 5 Kanal Classical Luxury Farmhouse Design in Gulberg Greens (D-Block)

When we undertook the Hammad Habib residence in D-Block, the design brief was distinctively clear: the client sought a departure from the fleeting trends of contemporary minimalism in favor of a structure with permanence and historical weight. The objective was to create a Classical Luxury Farmhouse Design in Gulberg Greens that prioritized grandeur and “heavy” architectural massing over light ornamentation. This required a rigorous adherence to neoclassical principles, ensuring the 5 Kanal estate felt like a legacy structure rather than a standard modern villa. The design language is defined by its imposing scale, where we utilized a “giant order” of architecture to create a verticality that commands attention while maintaining the dignity appropriate for a luxury estate in Islamabad.

To execute this specific vision of a Classical Luxury Farmhouse Design in Gulberg Greens, our team at Primarc Studio focused heavily on proportion and structural depth. We moved beyond surface-level decoration to incorporate massive double-height columns that visually anchor the central block, supporting a full, heavy entablature with deep cornices that cast dramatic shadows throughout the day. This approach allowed us to create a perfectly symmetrical façade where the central arched foyer acts as the primary focal point, flanked by balanced wings that distribute the visual weight evenly. The fenestration is equally robust, with windows framed by intricate stone molding that reinforces the “heavy” classical aesthetic the client specifically requested.

Integrating such a monumental structure into the landscape was critical for the success of this Classical Luxury Farmhouse Design in Gulberg Greens. We ensured the transition between the imposing built form and the outdoor space was handled through the strategic use of terraces and pergolas, which introduce a human scale to the garden side of the home. Furthermore, the boundary wall was treated not just as a security feature but as an extension of the architecture itself, utilizing the same stone cladding, rhythmic lighting, and wrought iron details to ensure the arrival experience matches the grandeur of the main residence. This holistic approach ensures the property stands as a cohesive work of art, balancing the client’s desire for heavy classical dominance with the functional requirements of a modern luxury home.
