A Fusion of Classical Elegance and Modern Comfort

Hammad Farmhouse is a bespoke 5‑kanal farmhouse designed by Primarc Studio for an elevated lifestyle in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad. The project embraces classical architecture, marrying timeless elegance with modern comfort. From the street, the estate commands attention: a broad boundary wall and gated entry ensure privacy, while the cream‑stone façade hints at the grandeur inside. A central portico with soaring columns and a carved pediment frames a double‑height glass archway. Through this glazed portal, visitors catch a glimpse of an ornate chandelier and the winding staircase beyond – an intentional tease that sets the tone for the experience.

On either side of the entry pavilion, symmetrical wings extend across the 5‑kanal plot, creating a balanced composition reminiscent of neoclassical villas. Tall pilasters, deep cornices and refined mouldings articulate each level, while warm lighting accentuates the stone texture in the evening. Large windows flood the interior with natural light and visually connect the indoor spaces to the landscaped gardens. Along the front elevation, arched colonnades lead to covered terraces and verandas. These outdoor rooms – some shaded by timber pergolas with climbing vines – provide sheltered seating areas and allow the family to enjoy Islamabad’s pleasant climate. Moving through the house, the double‑height foyer opens into formal lounges and dining rooms laid out along an axial plan. High ceilings, classical cornices, and rich finishes give the interior a palatial yet welcoming feel. The design also caters to modern living: private terraces on the upper level overlook the front lawn; car parking and service areas are discreetly integrated; and the layout allows for both grand entertaining and day‑to‑day family life.

Surrounding the residence, landscaped greenery, manicured hedges and a central fountain soften the formality of the architecture. The boundary wall echoes the detailing of the main building, with pilasters, lighting niches and neatly clipped shrubs. At night, concealed LED lights highlight the columns and cornices, lending the farmhouse a warm glow. Overall, the Hammad Farmhouse exemplifies how classical design can be adapted for contemporary lifestyles. The grand entrance, symmetrical façade, pergola terraces, and meticulously landscaped grounds showcase Primarc Studio’s craftsmanship and commitment to delivering luxury residences that stand the test of time.
