Site Update as of 05 March, 2026

The Power of Minimalism on 5 Marla The site visit to Hasham House reveals the successful realization of a “pure form” architectural concept. On a compact 5-marla plot, we chose to move away from the busy, multi-layered facades common in the area, opting instead for a monolithic floating concrete mass. This bold volume provides a sense of privacy and scale that is rarely seen on smaller plots. The recessed horizontal window band is now fully installed, creating a clean, dark contrast against the light grey plaster.

Light as a Building Material The true magic of Hasham House happens internally. Our inspection of the interior core shows the dramatic impact of the linear skylight (Image 04). By placing the light source directly above the circulation zone, we’ve created a “light well” that shifts throughout the day, casting sharp, rhythmic shadows across the minimalist white walls.

The Structural Spine The industrial-style steel staircase is now complete and serves as the home’s structural spine. By using a lightweight steel structure rather than bulky concrete stairs, we have preserved the sightlines across the double-height lobby. This ensures that the ground floor feels connected to the upper levels while maintaining the house’s open, airy atmosphere. The project is currently in the final painting and fixture installation stage, and we are closely supervising the finish quality to ensure the minimalist aesthetic is perfectly executed.
