February 2025 Newsletter: From Home Office to Enchanted Resorts in Rawalpindi

Welcome back readers! We know you are eager to find out what we have been up to so let’s dive right in with our updates for this month. Today we’re thrilled to unveil our newest projects and what has been going on in the studio.

Home Office Interior Design for Mr. Sarfraz in Chaklala, Rawalpindi

An Executive Style Home Office in Chaklala for our distinguished client. A breathtaking cohesion of comfort and practicality, this unique office design embodies our dedication towards breaking design norms and elevating spaces through eco-friendly practices. Nestled in Chaklala, Rawalpindi this project boasts comfort through an interplay of textures and patterns supported by the dark accents of wooden flooring.

Interior design of home office in beige style with sitting space and office table

The compact 12×10 home office of our client underwent this transformation to create a more functional and spacious environment. Primarc Studio merged two rooms to form a larger office of around 16×23, accommodating an executive workspace, seating area, and small dining space. The design balanced productivity and comfort, incorporating focused task lighting, warm ambient illumination, and a carefully planned layout.

The resulting home office features a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic with a warm, neutral color palette. The space includes a dedicated coffee nook, vertical light elements, and lush green indoor plants, creating a refined and well-balanced interior composition. A 360-experience video was created to showcase the design, featuring two layouts, with the second layout being finalized for execution.

The transformed home office seamlessly merges work and leisure, making it an ideal space for both focus and relaxation.

Hobbiton Lakeside Resort Club

This project of ours is a treat for all the fantasy lovers and readers who, like us, are fans of JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.

A digital rendering of a grassy lawn area with a wooden fence and bench in the foreground. The lawn is green with scattered flowers and leads to a landscape with trees and dome-shaped structures. A tall, thin tower is visible in the distance.

Yes, we are proud to have been able to participate in the renovation and design upgrade for Pakistan’s very own Hobbiton located in Lakeside Resort Club in an area spanning 124 Kanal, near Chakbeli.

Rendering of a hobbit-style house with a rounded door and grass roof, nestled into a hill. Flowers in the foreground.

The resort features the Hobbit style cottages along with a marriage hall, floating restaurant, event deck, children’s play area, lake and a parking equipped apartment building.

Rendering of a stone bridge over a pond, with people walking. Palm trees and greenery surround the water.

The client’s vision of an ultimate retreat experience catered to the lovers of Tolkien was met to their satisfaction in our proposed design. We tackled this project with the aim of enhancing the green landscape through sustainable design principles and natural materials which you can see from our concept sketes given.

A digital sketch of an interior architectural space with a circular design. The room is depicted with rough lines, showing a central circular opening in the ceiling, through which a thick, dark green, vine-like plant descends and spreads out onto the floor below. The plant mass fills the lower half of the central space, resembling a lush garden.

A black and white line drawing of a garden scene, depicted in a sketchy, illustrative style. The garden features a winding path in the foreground, leading through a dense arrangement of flowers, plants, and foliage. The path is shaded with a light gray tone, contrasting with the white background and black lines of the drawing.

A digitally manipulated photograph showing a landscape with a pond and sketched architectural elements. The photograph captures a natural scene with a pond in the foreground, reflecting the sky and surrounding trees. The pond's surface is a mix of brown and light reflections, suggesting shallow water.

The rolling green hills of the resort were reminiscent of the Shire’s picturesque landscape and we labored to preserve this feature while incorporating modern facilities. The resort’s buildings are designed to resemble Hobbit holes, with rounded doors, windows, and earthy tones. The range of accommodations also vary from cozy Hobbit holes to larger, more luxurious suites inspired by the homes of the Shire’s more prominent residents. The necessary structures blending seamlessly into the lush greenery, wildflowers, and trees, evoking the Shire’s idyllic countryside.

Unique, rounded buildings with circular windows, surrounded by trees and a garden with a zen rock garden. A pond is visible on the right.

Wandering pathways and stone walls aligned with quaint bridges were added to create an immersive experience for visitors with a sense of discovery and exploration. We are overall proud to have designed a unique and enchanting destination that brings the magic of the Lord of the Rings to life. Although currently on hold, the project will create a definite buzz in the community when it comes to fruition.
